The branding tools in Image Brander are where you can really customize your brand and save it to use in other projects, including Blog Collage.
Branding Tools are available to the right of your image in Designer View and allow you to customize the images with your specific branded style.
1) PIN STYLE: Clicking this will save your current design as a Personal Style.
2) PERSONAL LOGO: This will allow you to import your logo(s). See the Logo section of this page for more information.
3) FILE NAME: This will allow you to add the file name as dynamic text to the image. See the File Name section of this page for more information.
4) CUSTOM TEXT: This tab allows you to add Custom Text to the image. See the Custom Text section of this page for more information.
5) HORIZONTAL COLOR BAR: This allows you to toggle a color bar in the style. See the Horizontal Color Bar section of this page for more information.
Personal Logo
Once you click the Personal Logo icon, you will be given the opportunity to add new logo's by clicking the Add Image button.
You'll be prompted to locate the logo file you want to use. Select the logo file you wish to use, then click Open. The new logo will be imported to the logo library.
If you would like the background of your logo file to be transparent you will need to use a .png file with transparency. Image Brander also supports .jpg logo files.
You can continue to upload more logo files or simply click the logo you want to use to create your custom style. Once you click the logo, it will be applied to your image in Designer View.
Selecting the logo will display the Drop Zone it is in. With the Drop Zone you can:
1) Resize (by grabbing the corners) or move the Drop Zone using the blue border.
2) Change the Opacity using the slider.
3) Rotate the logo 90 degrees.
4) Delete the Drop Zone containing the logo.
File Name and Custom Text
Selecting the File Name icon will place the name of the image onto the image in a Text Drop Zone. With the Drop Zone you can:
1) Resize or move the Drop Zone using the blue border.
2) Change the font. You have access to any font installed on your system.
3) Rotate the text 90 degrees.
4) Bold text.
5) Italicize text.
6) Change text Color.
7) Text Opacity.
8) Add text to the existing File Name or enter your own custom text.
9) Delete the Drop Zone containing the text.
Horizontal Color Bar
You can click the Color Bar icon to toggle a color bar on/off. If you chose a Style that already has a color bar, it will already be showing on your image. Click the color bar tab to turn it off. You can select the color bar by clicking it once to bring up the options.
1) Resize or move the Drop Zone using the blue border, just as you would with any Drop Zone.
2) Change the color of the bar. Clicking the color square will open up your color palette options.
3) Color Bar Opacity. Change the opacity of the color bar by using the slider.
4) Delete the Color Bar.
Default Text
Every Default Style also includes the default text (© Your Photography). Selecting the Default Text will display the Drop Zone it is in, with the following tools:
1) Resize or move the Drop Zone using the blue border. This behaves as any Drop Zone. As you move the Drop Zone, a smart guide will appear to help you line up the text with your logo.
2) Change the font. You have access to any font installed on your system.
3) Rotate the text 90 degrees.
4) Bold text.
5) Italicize text.
6) Change text Color.
7) Text Opacity. Use the slider to change the opacity.
8) Change the Text. Clicking this will open up the text dialogue. Enter your custom text and hit Return/Enter to apply your text.
9) Delete the Drop Zone containing the text.
Pin Style
1) Once you have your brand style created the way you like it, click the Pin Style icon to save your style to use in other projects and Blog Collage.
2) Your pinned styles are saved under the Personal Styles tab.
3) Any pinned styles have a pin icon, indicating they are a saved style. If the circle is empty, it's simply a history state indicating a previously created style that was used by not saved. You can also click the circle to toggle the pin on/off.
4) You can delete any saved style by right-clicking it and choosing Delete.
5) Name your saved styles by double-clicking the default "Pinned Brander Style" text and changing the text.
Image Brander will keep up to 20 Recent Brander Styles by default. You have an unlimited number of available Pinned Styles that you can save to your Personal Styles panel. You can delete any of these styles at any time.
To remove an Unnamed Style, Recent Branded Style, Pinned Style or Exported Collage Style from the Personal Styles panel, right-click the name of the style and click Delete.
