You can copy and paste a set of numbers into Image Finder and it will find them on your hard drive! With Image Finder, you can import images directly into a new project, or add those 2-3 images your client decided they wanted at the last minute into their album with ease. Of course, you're also able to use Image Finder to find and save images to a folder outside of Fundy Designer.
Image Finder is located in the bottom left corner of Fundy Designer. Click the Image Finder icon to launch the Image Finder wizard.
Step 1: Image List
Enter the images you want to locate. You can cut and paste a list of images from an email or a (.csv) file from an online gallery such as RedCart or Zenfolio. The images need to be on separate lines or be separeated by a comma. Then click Next.
Step 2: Action
You will be prompted to choose what to do with your located images.
You have the option to add the images to an active project, create a new project with the found files or copy the files to a new location. This is a great way to pull out a specific set of images for retouching.
Make your selection and click Next.
Step 3: Location
Select a location for Image Finder to search. This can include sub folders. Once you've selected a location, click the Next button.
Step 4: Review
Image Finder will now locate your images. By default, the preview images are disabled to speed up the search process. You are able to review the images prior to importing them by clicking the "Build Thumbnails" button. This may take a few minutes while it builds preview thumbnails of your image files. If they are correct, click Next.
Step 5: Results
Based on what action you have selected, once you click the next button, it will start that process.
Final Step: Finish
Once you import your found images, you will be greeted with this super awesome congratulatory hug sent from afar. Once you finish high five-ing, click Finish.
