How do I create a desktop password from a Fundy Cloud account?

This article is for users who signed up for a subscription through their Google account login - if you already have an active Fundy Designer subscription, please see this article.

If you signed up for Fundy Cloud first, you may not have a password for the Fundy Designer desktop app yet. You can create one from Fundy Cloud: send yourself a password link from Classic Desktop Account settings, choose a password, then use it to log in to Fundy Designer on your computer.

Note: Use the same email address as your Fundy Cloud account. When you log in, Fundy Designer detects your license, so you can start designing straight away.

Open Classic Desktop Account settings

1. In Fundy Cloud, select your profile photo at the top right.
2. Select Classic Desktop Account. Settings opens on the Classic Desktop Account tab.

1. Scroll down to Forgot password. Your email address is already filled in.
2. Select Send reset link.
3. A message confirms Reset link sent to your email. Check your inbox.

Don't need to create a password? If you already have a desktop password, you can skip ahead and log in to Fundy Designer desktop.

Create your desktop password

1. Open the email titled Fundy Designer Password Reset, from no-reply@fundysoftware.com.
2. Select the link in the email. The Reset your password page opens in your browser.
3. Type your new password in New password, then type it again in Confirm password.
4. Select Reset password.
5. The message Your password has been changed appears.

The link expires in 24 hours. If it has expired, go back to Classic Desktop Account settings and select Send again to get a new one.

Log in to Fundy Designer desktop

1. Open Fundy Designer on your computer.
2. On the Login screen, type your email address in Email address.
3. Type the password you just created in Password.
4. Select Log in now.
5. A Thank you! message confirms that your account is registered on this computer and your purchased license has been detected. Select Start designing.

• Use the same email as your Fundy Cloud account.
• Select Send reset link in Classic Desktop Account settings.
• Create your password from the email link within 24 hours.
• Log in to Fundy Designer desktop with your email and new password.
