Project Files

Project files are saved on your computer as .fsd files. The default save location is your Documents folder. You may also see a .fsd-journal file that holds data the .fsd file references. You can view recently opened projects on your dashboard from the drop down menu.

Image Files

Color Space & Pixels

All image files should be saved in an RGB color profile and exported as JPG/JPEG files. Fundy Designer exclusively imports JPG images; other formats are not supported.

There is generally no need to adjust the pixel dimensions of your images from their original sizes, as the software will automatically resize them as needed based on your album specifications. If an image displays a triangle size warning, please interpret this as a "proceed with caution" alert rather than a requirement to stop. Using the loupe tool will allow you to view a full-resolution preview.

If importing images from cell phones, please ensure the color profile is in sRGB before importing.

You may also upload .PNG logo files if you need a transparent background. Logos are most compatible when their longest side is under 1500 pixels, as they are imported at full resolution (unlike the proxy used for .JPG image files). Please note that TIFF/TIF files cannot be imported.

Naming

Ensure that image filenames with numbers have the same number of digits—if you have 300 photos, use 3 digits (001, 010, 100). This will allow proper sorting by name.
