This article will go over our patented Drop Zone technology and small design adjustments. Drop Zones are used in all design projects. For more information on design tools, please see the Design Tools & Customization section.
Drop Zones
Drop Zones are the core design tool in Fundy Designer that let you easily lay out images in albums, wall art collections, cards, and more. Think of a Drop Zone as a flexible container where you can drag and drop multiple images and then customize the layout in seconds.
Drop Zones give you total creative control while maintaining professional design rules—allowing you to change image counts, spacing, cropping, and orientation without rebuilding a layout from scratch.
Manage Images
Add Images
To add images, drag them from the Image Well to the desired placement in the Drop Zone. A yellow bar will appear showing where this image will be placed in relation to the other images.
Swap Images
To swap images, drag the new image over the top of the image to replace. The Drop Zone will automatically adjust to the new placement. Images can be dragged from the image well or from another place in the Drop Zone.
Resize Images
To resize images, hover your mouse over the space between images, then click and drag until the desired size is reached.
Delete Images
To delete images, select the image in the Drop Zone and then use the backspace key. This can also be accomplished by right-clicking the image and selecting Delete Image.

Add Drop Zone
To add a Drop Zone, drop a single image anywhere there is not currently a Drop Zone.
Move Drop Zone
To move a Drop Zone, select the grab bar in the top right and readjust as desired.
Resize Drop Zone
To resize a Drop Zone, select it and drag by any of the orange squares. The grab bar can also be double clicked to resize the Drop Zone to the images inside the Drop Zone.
Delete Drop Zone
To delete a Drop Zone, select it and click the x on the toolbar to the right.
