If images have the yellow curved arrows/re-sync icon on them, the file path between Fundy and the image files has been lost, and you will need to re-sync your images to re-establish that file path.
To do this:
1) Find out which images need to be re-synced.
-
- Go to View > Toggle Warnings from the top menu to make sure you have warnings enabled.
-
- Go to View > Toggle File Name or hit the N key to toggle on image filenames. Then open the folder your images are saved to and make sure the image file names correspond.
- Please note: Image filenames in the software must be an exact match to those saved to your hard drive, otherwise the software will not be able to pull the images on export. If your filenames have been changed since originally importing them into Fundy Designer, you will need to batch rename them before re-syncing.
- Go to View > Toggle File Name or hit the N key to toggle on image filenames. Then open the folder your images are saved to and make sure the image file names correspond.
2) If you are unable to locate your images in that folder, open Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows) and search for the images by filename. Make sure that any external drives used are plugged in before searching.
3) Once you have located the correct images or batch renamed them, go to Images > Re-Sync Images from the top menu of your software to re-establish the file path between Fundy and your images. Click here for a video tutorial demonstrating this process.
4) If you run into any issues re-syncing, please submit a ticket to our support team and one of our agents will be happy to help you troubleshoot.
